Varun took to his Instagram account to share a picture of him and his co-stars wearing Team India jerseys and wrote, “Let’s go team India! #SD3”.

The photo has received over 2 lakh likes so far, with fans cheering for the Indian cricket team in the comments section. Netizens also expressed their excitement about Street Dancer 3D and said that they were waiting for its release with bated breath.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. The match, which is being played at Old Trafford, could be interrupted by rain as the weather report predicts “variable cloud and light shower”.

Currently, Varun is shooting for Street Dancer 3D. The film, which also has Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Prabhudheva in pivotal roles, is touted to be the most expensive dance film that Bollywood has ever seen.

Last month, at an event, Varun was quoted by PTI as saying that Street Dancer 3D features an epic dance competition. “It is India’s biggest dance musical film. And it deals with a lot of teams. There are different teams in the film, I have my team, Shraddha Kapoor has her team, there are international teams as well. And then you see who will win at the end,” he said.

Street Dancer 3D will introduce as many as 20 new dancers. “My idea is to introduce new talent to every film. If you are a star, you have to take the onus of introducing new talent,” the actor said.
